I found better fruit than at Smith's. I get fresh liver from their deli I also buy hot food they have soups they have burritos that I buy. Did they do speak some English I do not speak Spanish. It's a small place but it is kept reasonably clean. Very good prices for an experienced so far. Subdued friendly. A nice small store that's independent. Look around if you need help ask for it. It was easy for what I needed. Some employees kind of helpful. Plentiful food servings. My friends already go there and told me to check it out. Cheap and fresher fruit I believe from a smaller purchases.

This is an authentic mexican style store. They have a great butcher shop. With special cuts to your liking. They also make mexican food to go or to eat in store. They also have good mexican bread. As well as produce. Everybody there is very friendly and courteous.

The best meat always fresh the produce is always fresh. Best spice and fresh bread daily with pan dulce and a small area that sells hot food delicious selection for cooking.

We love this place for all foods Mexican. Really a good selection with a very good meat counter. Thier prepared foods are great too... tamales, tacos and plates are fantastic.

Good small Mexican market, they have really good produce. Their meat selection is good, the marinated meats are outstanding, great flavor. Kitchen is really good, the pork grinds (chicharrones botaneros) are better than any other market. Bakery is also good and fresh. The building could use some maintenance specially the front of the store. Personnel is very kind, except the lady that I believe is the manager, she's most of the time taking on her Bluetooth while helping on the checkout, not really friendly. Overall great little market, recommend.

My families been loyal customers here for 10+ years. We movers to the east side of town and I make the 1.5 hour round trip because none of the other Mexican grocery stores come close in taste and freshness. We get always get Carne Asada flat meat, & chicken pastor, but their other meat is good too. Employees are always friendly and happy. Sometimes the meat counter can get a bit of a wait/line but it moves quickly and is worth the wait.

This is the place to go for carne asada. We always end up buying at least a pound more than we think we’ll need because it gets eaten. We recently tried the al pastor and it was also really tasty. We always get the chips, up near the meat case, and the salsa, over in the produce section, to go with our meal. One of the salsas is pretty spicy. Maybe mix it with the other if if you want a medium one. The guacamole keeps going up in price, so I just make my own. It’s better than theirs anyway. Small avocados are 2 for $1, which is a good deal. They also sell masa if you want to press your own tortillas. The back has sweet breads and a taco shop.

Just moved to the area recently and Cuevas Meat Market has become my go to for fresh produce, carne seca, and various meats. I’ve gotten the chuck roast many times now for birria and it’s excellent.
